Moose River Handcrafts has offered a knife workshop in years past for folks who wanted to learn the complete process of making a rustic style hand forged knife. Students learned about the materials used, how to do basic blacksmithing on a coal forge, and how to put the knife and sheath together. A handmade knife definitely has more character than a regular store-bought knife.
